State ownership steering
The State’s ownership policy comprises matters of ownership steering, dividend, privatisation and investment policies as well as transactions related to the State’s corporate shareholdings. The State’s goal is to achieve good dividend yield and rise in value of the investment and liquidity with its active and pragmatic corporate ownership policy. Another aim of the State is to develop its companies so as to become interesting investments objects for other investors, too. The ownership policy is carried out in accordance with the Government Programme. The measures are always considered on a company-specific basis.
The ownership steering of market-based companies takes place in the Prime Minister’s Office. The companies include state-owned companies and associated companies (with State shareholding below 50.1%).
