The Prime Minister’s Office provides information services for the Government, other authorities, organisations and individual citizens.
The Prime Minister’s Office provides information management services for all public authorities tasked with the national preparation of EU affairs by handling the distribution of EU documents, maintenance of document registers, archives and information services. Internal information services include the ministries’ joint intranet Senaattori and the Library in Government Palace which is maintained in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance.
The Government Registry serves citizens and the society in matters related to documents. The Government Registry maintains a register of documents addressed to the Government and the Prime Minister’s Office. Registry information, public documents of the Prime Minister’s Office and the Prime Minister’s Office archiving rules are available at the Registry. Information on working groups, projects, committees, advisory boards and related documentation are available to public in the Government's joint project register.
The Government Archives that operated in the Prime Minister’s Office between 1981 and 2007 now makes part of the National Archives Service ( tel. +358 9 2285 2550).
